Experience is great, but your attitude matters most – we can help you with the rest.

The Role
As a Support Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment
• Support children aged 4–11, including those with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges
• Encourage learning through play, creativity, and structured activities
• Offer one-to-one or small group support to help pupils achieve their best

Who We’re Looking For
You might be:

• An experienced carer, teaching assistant, nursery nurse, or youth worker
• Someone with a background in customer service or volunteering who enjoys working with children
• Friendly, reliable, and committed to supporting children’s growth and confidence

Requirements
We’ll guide you through the process, but you will need:

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Two professional references from the last two years
