Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic & energetic final year students to complete their NQT year in our thriving schools based in the heart of Ashford and the surrounding area. We work with schools in the local area, which are all located close to excellent transport links as well as the potential to park on site.

Through out NQT pool you have the opportunity to complete your NQT year with the support of your consultant here at Teaching Personnel, as well as the friendly and professional staff within the school. In addition, the members of the Teaching Personnel NQT Pool will receive free access to six on-line support packs provided by our sister company Best Practice Network.

Each pack contains six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support the practice of Teachers.

Pedagogy and Practice
This supports your classroom practice and helps you promote pupil progress by applying an understanding of the way children learn.

This supports the use of effective and appropriate methods of assessment to promote pupil progress and improve outcomes.

This supports your behaviour management helping you to set high expectations and create a supportive learning environment for all pupils.

Special Educational Needs
This pack will help to develop inclusive practice to support all pupils effectively including those with special educational needs.

Professional Behaviours
This pack supports in fulfilling wider school responsibilities as you develop effective professional relationships with parents and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
