Role: Classroom Assistant

Salary: GBP60-70 per day

The SENCo and Governors of a fantastic school in South Bristol is seeking an engaging, enthusiastic, and reliable Classroom Assistant to work across the whole school. This school requires someone who can support students academically in small groups as well as on a one-to-one basis. The school requires a general Classroom Assistant who can confidently support in all year groups supporting the class teacher as well as leading small booster sessions and intervention sessions for high-achieving students. The ideal candidate would need to have strong initiative and behaviour management and be able to step up and identify the children that most need support and aid them. In this role there will also be an element of 1:1 support as on occasion you will be asked to work with students with EHCP’s so any experience with special needs would be ideal.

• Sensitive to the needs of children
• Resilient and engaging
• Basic knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Be able to communicate effectively
• Will be really flexible and adaptable this is crucial in this role as you will be working in so many different capacities
