Primary Class Teacher

Our partner school, based in Central Cambridge, are looking to appoint a Class Teacher from September 2020.  The Church of England school require a passionate, engaging individual to join the school on a temporary basis initially.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified teacher status.
• A passion for teaching
• A good sense of humour and an ability to make learning fun as well as challenging.
• Excellent classroom practice which enables all groups of learners to fulfil their potential.
• An understanding of the importance of assessment, planning and teamwork in developing and delivering an exciting curriculum.
• A thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and a commitment to raising standards in all areas of the curriculum.
• A recognition of the class teacher’s role in developing the whole child including their personal, social, moral and spiritual development.
• A commitment to support and enhance the school’s Christian values.
• A commitment to the development of the school and their own professional development.
• An ability to work in a team and form strong professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• A commitment to implementing the school’s policies on equality and diversity, safeguarding and health and safety.
• A commitment to safeguarding the well-being of all children and implementing the school’s child protection policy and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
