Are you a Youth Worker or Support Assistant seeking work in the Preston area?
If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston School which caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties, pupils who display challenging behaviours and pupils with Anxiety and Autism. The School is smaller than average and currently provides education for approximately 50 male pupils aged between 11-17 years old.
The role will start after the half term and it will be full time for the rest of the academic year and it is likely to become permanent for the right candidate. The candidate must be available full time and be seeking a long term if not permanent role.
The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behaviours. The candidate will ideally be Team Teach trained but this is not essential and the successful candidate must be willing to work with pupils who can often display both physically and verbally aggressive behaviours.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
* negotiable pay rates £50-60 per day
* rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behaviours
* long term position available
If this role sounds ideal for you please do not hesitate to contact Kirsten on 01772 842155 or email with your CV and covering letter.
