PPA Teacher required 3 days per week to cover across KS1 in North Manchester Primary School (M40)

Flexibility teaching across KS1

Two form entry OFSTED graded GOOD School

Same 3 days every week for continuity purposes.

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a 'Good' two form entry primary school in North Manchester (M40) to secure them a Teacher to cover PPA throughout KS1 from Easter up until summer

The role is 3 days per week which will be agreed at the start of the placement and those will be the same days every week. The ideal candidate will be covering Year 1 in the mornings and Year 2 in the afternoons. Having experience helping to prepare a class for SATs would be desirable.

As this is PPA cover all work will be prepared and the successful candidate will be expected to deliver the lessons from the planning provided to an excellent level ensuring there is still a constant progression in the class and as little disruption as possible.

The school was recently graded 'good' by OFSTED and is said to be heading in the right direction towards outstanding as 'senior leaders are aware of the schools downfalls and are in the process of rectifying this with strong teachers and the continuation of strong leadership being at the forefront of their planning'

Key Highlights:

  • Salary- ÂŁ21,804-ÂŁ27,376 (Pro Rata)
  • Easily accessible in a car or on public transport from all surrounding areas.
  • Maternity cover
  • 3 Days per week

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
