PPA Teacher

We are looking for an experienced teacher to take on a PPA cover role that will encompass both KS1 and KS2 and is set to take place after Easter and run until the end of the summer term. The school is based in the heart of Kings Lynn and has received an overall ‘Good’ rating on its latest OFSTED inspection. Ideal applicants will be teachers who are adaptable and can ensure that pupils receive quality teaching even though their regular class teacher is on PPA time.

In your role, you will be covering PPA as well as subject leader time and general absence. The school is large, 3 form entry, and as a consequence tends to need regular absence cover for a variety of reasons.

What the school require from you:

• QTS
• Ability to mark effectively
• Prior experience teaching in Primary Schools
• Encouragement of the schools behaviour policy
• High level of classroom management skills

The role is extremely accessible to those who are confident in their knowledge of the National Curriculum and has the added benefit of no provided planning.

 A high quality of both marking and constructive feedback is expected, as this will reflect the progress and levels of the pupils for their teacher to analyse upon their return.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
