Job description

PPA Teacher – Primary Schools (September Start)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible PPA Teacher to join a range of welcoming primary schools from September.

This role is ideal for a confident teacher who enjoys variety, values consistency for pupils, and is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons during teachers’ PPA time.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Provide consistent cover for PPA sessions from September
  • Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Ensure continuity of learning across classes
  • Work closely with school staff to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
  • Confident teaching across the primary age range
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Experience in UK primary schools is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
