Have you recently achieved your QTS and are ready to begin your teaching career in September? We are working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across North Manchester who are looking to recruit enthusiastic Early Career Teachers for the new academic year.
We have a variety of full-time opportunities available, including both short-term and ad hoc supply assignments, as well as longer-term positions that could extend for a term, an academic year, or potentially lead to permanent employment. Placements will be matched to your preferences, skills and career goals, while helping schools meet their staffing requirements throughout the year.
As an ECT, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience across different school settings, year groups and teaching environments while continuing to develop your confidence and classroom practice.
In this role, you may be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively, assessing and monitoring pupil progress, adapting learning to meet the needs of all learners, and working collaboratively with school staff, parents and leadership teams to support pupil outcomes. Longer-term placements may also involve planning, preparation and marking responsibilities.

To be considered, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before September 2026
- Be passionate about inspiring and supporting young learners
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
