Job description

Primary Teacher – PPA Cover (3 Days Per Week)

Location: Blackpool
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Part-time (3 days per week)
Salary: £140–£180 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to provide PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 in a welcoming primary school located in Blackpool. This is a part-time position working three days per week, starting as soon as possible, with the potential to continue long-term.

The Role:

  • Deliver high‑quality lessons across a range of year groups
  • Follow planned lessons and ensure continuation of learning
  • Provide engaging and effective classroom management
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and school leaders

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a fully qualified teacher (QTS required)
  • Have experience across both KS1 and KS2 (preferred but not essential)
  • Be flexible, confident, and able to quickly build rapport with pupils
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Be available 3 days per week on an ongoing basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
