Role: PPA Teacher

Schedule: Full Time

Location: Croxteth (L12)

Start Date: October 2025

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

 

 

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) Teacher to join the school’s teaching team from October 2025. This full time role involves delivering high quality lessons across different year groups to provide release time for class teachers. You will be expected to teach from pre-planned materials, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure continuity of learning in a range of subject areas.

This welcoming and inclusive primary school, located in the heart of Croxteth, is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. The school prides itself on its strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and dedication to developing both academic and personal growth in its pupils. Staff work collaboratively to maintain high standards and create a positive atmosphere across all year groups.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Is adaptable, organised, and confident in teaching a range of subjects
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
  • Is committed to supporting the school’s values and contributing to a positive learning environment
  • Has a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
