Locations: Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch

Contract: Flexible (Part-Time, Full-Time, Day-to-Day & Long-Term)

Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Dorset?

We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive mainstream primary schools across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch who are seeking reliable and enthusiastic teachers to provide PPA cover and general class cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

These opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy working in a variety of school environments while maintaining the flexibility to suit their schedule. Whether you are looking for regular weekly work, short-term placements, or longer-term roles, we can offer a range of options across our strong local school network.

The Role

  • Provide PPA cover and general supply teaching across primary year groups

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with school planning and curriculum expectations

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and abilities

  • Maintain a positive, safe and focused classroom environment

  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies

  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity for pupils

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching within primary schools (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Flexibility and confidence to teach across different schools and year groups

  • A proactive and reliable approach to teaching

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of learning and pupil engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
