Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team for a maternity cover role starting after the Easter break.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established classroom, build strong foundations and make a lasting impact during this crucial stage of learning.

✨ The Role:

• Full class teaching responsibility in Year 1

• Delivering engaging, creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

• Supporting pupils as they develop key literacy, phonics and numeracy skills

• Creating a warm, structured and positive learning environment

‍ The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and have experience within KS1 (Year 1 experience desirable)

• Have strong knowledge of phonics and early learning strategies

• Build positive relationships quickly with pupils, staff and parents

• Be committed, organised and confident in classroom management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
