Are you a qualified Teacher of Science?

If so, an Assistant Head Teacher from one of my client schools in Blackpool has contacted me this afternoon with the need for a Science Teacher to start ASAP due to unexpected staffing change. There is a need for an additional need Science Teacher to join the department, therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be made permanent. The school is smaller than average with around 700 pupils on roll and is Ofsted judged 'Good'. It is located on the outskirts of the city centre and students come from a large catchment area from surrounding areas of Blackpool. Behaviour of students is good, however some can be challenging so behaviour/ classroom management skills are essential.

- Any Science specialism is considered for the post

- MUST be able to teach KS3/4 Science

- Good behaviour management skills

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
