Physical Education (PE) Teacher – Secondary School | September Start
Locations: Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Caerleon, Blackwood
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Daily Pay: Starting from £166.32
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract: Short-term with potential for permanent placement

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a well-established partner secondary school in South Wales seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher for a short-term contract until the end of the summer term. For the right candidate, this could lead to a long-term or permanent school contract.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Encourage students to lead healthy, active lifestyles.

Uphold and promote high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

Act as a form tutor, supporting student wellbeing and development.

Monitor student progress, assess outcomes, and provide targeted support.

Play a key role in the physical education department and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) with QTS.

Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education.

A passion for motivating and inspiring young people.

Experience managing classroom behaviour effectively.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

A desire to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
