On behalf of our client school here in Cardiff, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a number of graduate or experienced cover supervisors to service the high demands for emergency and pre-booked cover. The school is a large secondary school with approx. 1500 pupils on roll, the school is looking for people who want to gain experience as they move toward their Teaching journey.

With supportive senior leaders and a firm behaviour management policy, all the provisions to lead classes effectively are in place and aspiring teachers would gain an insight into a career in education.

Benefits of working as a cover supervisor;

* Up to £70 per day depending on experience

* Introduction to working in a functioning secondary school

* Development of classroom management

Requirements to work as a cover supervisor;

*Educated to degree level is highly desirable but not essential

*Candidates must be able to confidently lead pre-planned lessons

* An ability to instantly build relationships with pupils and ensure engagement in lessons

* A flexible approach to working in a cross-curricular setting
