PE graduate Teaching Assistants- Wigan

Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking PE graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in our client secondary school located in Wigan;

Overview of the role;

• Covering theoretical and practical PE lessons in the absence of the teachers
• Using your experiences from your degree to enhance learning wherever possible
• Maintaining a high level of discipline whilst engaging the pupils.
• Ensuring that practical lessons are carried out safely and that equipment is used appropriately
• You will also be expected to cover in other subject departments on occasions. This will involve delivering pre-set work making sure pupils are on task.

Our client secondary school is high achieving and has excellent facilities as a result of a recent investment. The school is improving year on year and has a positive learning atmosphere throughout. The behaviour of the pupils is considered to be good and they take pride in attending the school. All of this makes it the perfect environment to gain more experience in.

The school is located close to the town centre making it a short drive from the surrounding areas of Standish, Shevington and Hindley. It is also very accessible on public transport.
