A secondary school in Tameside is seeking a female PE teacher for a January 2020 start. This role is open to both experienced teachers and NQTs.

This is a full time girls PE teaching role in a school that offers a wide variety of activities through its PE curriculum at both KS3 and KS4. In KS3 you will be teaching units such as gymnastics, netball, ice skating, athletics, trampolining, volleyball, cross country, badminton, football and Ultimate Frisbee. Participation in these sports will enhance the girls' abilities to use a range of technical skills, analyse their performance and identify areas for improvement.

At KS4, the PE GCSE course comprises of sports including: table tennis, fitness, ice skating, cross country, trampolining, volleyball, rounders and cricket. In Y11, the girls will select two activities from a choice of four at the start of each half term. There is also the option at KS4 for girls to pursue a Sports Studies BTEC, which covers sports in the media, sports leadership, contemporary issues in sport and developing sports skills.
