PE Teacher

  • PE Teacher, teaching physical and practical PE
  • Located in the heart of Manchester
  • Starting in the new academic year, in September
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Teaching Key stage 3 and 4 students in our client's secondary school

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced PE Teacher within our client's secondary school, located in central Manchester. We are seeking a PE Teacher who likes a challenge, has experience teaching practical and theory PE and is looking for a new role in September.

The PE Teacher role will require you to teach the students to;

  • Play a range of competitive sports as a team and as individuals, for example badminton, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, netball, rugby, rounders and tennis
  • Develop their technique and performance in competitive sports like gymnastics and athletics
  • Perform dances involving advanced techniques and a range of styles and forms
  • Take part in outdoor and adventurous pursuits that involve teamwork, trust and problem-solving
  • Analyse their performance and strive to reach their personal best
  • take part in physical activities or competitive sports outside school

Due to an open vacancy within the PE department, the Headteacher is seeking an experienced PE Teacher to join a very strong, cohesive, forward thinking team. It is essential that the successful candidate is a strong team player to fit into the team around them, giving the students the best opportunity possible.

The secondary school seeking a PE Teacher has recently had a refurbishment within the PE department, fitted with a modern gym that has high quality equipment, which is accessible for the students and staff. With a range of high quality sporting surfaces, to support the successful sporting teams within, this is an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher to fulfil their passion.
