Teaching Personnel are looking for a PE teachers located around the Bournemouth area that are seeking day to day or long-term work from September 2020 or before.

It is essential that the applicant:

  • Holds a degree (preferably in PE/Sport Science)
  • Has a proven track record in the delivery of high quality PE  lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Can effectively manage day to day school factors, as well as any pastoral issues that may arise.

This role presents itself as the ideal opportunity for teachers looking for long term, temporary/flexible work once schools have resumed, after the COVID-19 pandemic. It is essential that the required applicant is able to confidently deliver high quality PE lessons up to GCSE. Pay for this role per day will range from GBP100-GBP170.

The required teacher should be able to: 

  • Deliver school PE curriculums efficiently. 
  • Create adequate educational resources, ensuring that these meet the needs of all pupils within the class. 
  • Set homework tasks that are efficient in enabling students to reflect on learning, whilst continually highlighting areas for improvement. 
  • Working with students on a 1:1 basis and being able to readily look to improve individual attainment.
  • Provide continuous feedback to students based on progress, as well as engaging subject leaders with regards to progression and overall performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
