Are you an experienced and qualified PE teacher with a passion for encouraging physical excellence and personal development? Join a diverse and inclusive all-through school in Southwark, where your role will shape the lives of pupils aged 4 to 18, instilling a lifelong appreciation for health, teamwork, and resilience.
Working in a committed and aspirational environment, you will deliver high-quality Physical Education across Key Stages 1–5, helping students reach their full potential both on and off the field. You will be expected to plan, teach, mark, assess, and contribute fully to the wider responsibilities of a class teacher in line with the school’s shared values of ambition, integrity, and community.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across primary and secondary phases

Plan and assess in line with national curriculum and whole-school frameworks

Promote physical wellbeing and participation through extra-curricular activities

Contribute to a positive school ethos and uphold high behavioural expectations
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Proven experience teaching PE across relevant age ranges
-
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
-
Commitment to professional development and collaborative working

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
