Sports Coaches / Teaching Assistants with coaching experience needed in Hounslow schools for Key Stage 1

Do you have experience of sports coaching with children in the UK?

Are you potentially thinking about taking a PGCE in the near future to become a PE teacher?

Do you enjoy working with children?

Do you have a valid current DBS/CRB dated within the last 12 months?

If you have answered yes to all or most of the questions above, then Teaching Personnel would be very interested in hearing from you.

Harrow schools are looking for candidates who are able to combine general classroom support with the ability to offer dedicated sports coaching covering a variety of different activities. The work on offer would be ideal for anyone who is looking to become a PE teacher in the future.

To apply, you must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with primary school aged children and a relevant sporting qualification. Experience of having already worked in a UK primary school in a classroom support capacity is highly desirable although not necessarily essential. Candidates with experience of having worked with children with Special Educational Needs are always sought after and valued.

These special needs include Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities and children with challenging behaviour.

Applicants should either live in the Harrow borough or be in a position to reach schools within the borough in 45 minutes or less.

Teaching Personnel requires all it's candidates to either hold a current valid DBS/CRB police check or be willing to apply for a new one if necessary as part of its safeguarding and child protection policies.
