Outdoor Sports Specialist required for a specialised Autism ASD / ASC School near Norwich

  • Full-time or part-time position available
  • Additional training provided in SEN
  • Excellent rates of pay

I am looking to appoint an Outdoor Specialist Teacher for a SEN School for pupils with Autism. I am proud to say that I am the sole recruiter for this School and have the opportunity of looking to appoint for this incredible position.

We are looking for someone who is at least qualified in one or more of the following areas, is confident in teaching pupils with SEN, in particular ASD and ADHD, whilst being supported by a large network of highly experienced and trained support assistants:

*Paddlesport qualifications Such as Leaders Award / L1

*Navigation and walking such as Mountain Leader

*Rock and Abseil such as SPA

*Mountain Bike Leader such as BSCA

*Outdoor 16 Hour First Aid and trainer

*Bush craft (years of experience or qualifications)

*Archery GB Leaders Award

*John Muir Accreditation or Explorers Award

*QTS or similar

*Degree or equivalent in Teaching and Training such as FDA in Teaching, Training and Development

*Advanced Scouting Experiences such as permit assessor

*Duke of Edinburgh Trainer / Assessor

*Trainer and Assessor in Conflict Management 1886 L3

*Leading Internal Quality Assurance L4

*8 years evidence based Grade 1 SAR Success and Achievement of programmes from NEET intervention to L3 Btecs across vocational subjects.

The School site is across large expansive grounds whilst also supported by minibuses to use on wilder larger areas.
