Pastoral Support Assistant
Join a vibrant secondary academy and make a real difference to the lives of young students. This role is ideal for any candidates with experience supporting young people with Social Emotional Mental Health issues and behavioural difficulties.
This pastoral support role will involve working with young people aged 11-16 on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting them in lessons and outside of the classroom. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role that is proactive and an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to lives of young students.
We are looking for a passionate candidate who has experience working with 11-16 year old in an educational setting. We also welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience such as Youth Work, Support Work or Sports Coaching. This role would also be suited to any recent graduates looking to pursue a career in teaching or secondary school support roles.
This large secondary academy has been on an excellent journey in recent years and has been locally and nationally recognised for its significant improvements. In a recent Ofsted report, the academy was judged to be ‘Good’ with a strong and determined leadership team. For those on public transport, the academy is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. For those who drive, the academy is located a 20 minute drive from the city centre.

- GBP1300 - GBP1400 per month
