Pastoral Lead

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN School in Bournemouth catering for pupils with behaviour needs; including SEMH and Autism. We are recruiting for a Pastoral Lead to join the school from September 2018.
You will be working alongside teachers and support staff to support the day-to-day case management of individual pupils. Your role will involve communicating with parents, schools and other members of staff and you must be confident discussing sensitive issues.
You must have experience supporting pupils with behaviour needs and have a good understanding of the causes behind behaviour (SEN diagnosis, trauma, attachment difficulties).
Your role will involve both working directly with the pupils, providing support, and administration tasks, including staff deployment, training, contact with outside agencies.
If you have good communication skills, experience working with young people with learning and behavioural difficulties, and the a passion for making a difference to young peoples lives, then we would like to hear from you.
