Job Title: 1:1 Pashto Speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Bracknell
Employer: Teaching Personnel (on behalf of a local school)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Term Time Only
About the Role
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming school in Bracknell to recruit a Pashto speaking Learning Support Assistant. This rewarding position involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them to access lessons and thrive in their school environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in a child’s learning journey.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individual support to a pupil, both in class and during small group or independent activities.

Use Pashto and English to aid understanding and communication.

Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and overcoming barriers to learning.

Promote confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.

Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals.

Track and report on progress as part of the support team.
The Ideal Candidate
-
Fluent in Pashto with good written and spoken English.
-
Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
-
An understanding of special educational needs is desirable but not essential.

Patient, approachable, and flexible in supporting individual needs.

Reliable and committed to working as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
