Part time teaching assistant needed – Bury
A small Primary School in Hawkshaw, Bury (BL8) is currently looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant on a part time basis. The hours would be 1 full day and 4 mornings a week. The successful candidate will more than likely be supporting in the schools Year 5 class and will be required to take the lead in some lessons to cover PPA. This role will start on the 6th January 2020 and carry on until the end of the academic year with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
As this is a small primary school, the class size is 15 pupils per class and the school is at the heart of the village life with a strong family feel. The Head teacher is looking for a confident and nurturing teaching assistant with experience or working in a class room setting. The role will involve taking a small class in grammar and punctuation so experience and confidence to lead a large group of pupils is essential.
