Part time teaching assistant needed – Bury

A small Primary School in Hawkshaw, Bury (BL8) is currently looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant on a part time basis. The hours would be 1 full day and 4 mornings a week. The successful candidate will more than likely be supporting in the schools Year 5 class and will be required to take the lead in some lessons to cover PPA. This role will start on the 6^th January 2020 and carry on until the end of the academic year with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

As this is a small primary school, the class size is 15 pupils per class and the school is at the heart of the village life with a strong family feel. The Head teacher is looking for a confident and nurturing teaching assistant with experience or working in a class room setting. The role will involve taking a small class in grammar and punctuation so experience and confidence to lead a large group of pupils is essential.
