Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Amesbury, Wiltshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part-time, Term-time only
Salary: £13.75 per hour

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, high motivational Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming team from September 2025. Our school, located in the heart of Amesbury, was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and continues to uphold high standards of teaching and pupil care. You’ll role with be to support teachers within a classroom situation, as well as working with small groups of children but within and outside the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate a caring and patient nature
- Be flexible, proactive, and a team player
- Be committed to promoting the well-being and academic progress of all pupils
- Have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service (or be willing to obtain one
- Be able to provide 2 references for previous 24 months of employment.
- Be able to demonstrate good behaviour management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
