Our client school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational teacher of Science to join a committed and highly successful department. The department is led by a newly appointed and talented Head of Department.
The school is an outstanding, high-achieving school. The school came under the leadership of new Headteacher in September, who is reinforcing our strapline of Achievement/Excellenct/Integrity. Due to student numbers increasing in size as part of the school'™s strategy for meeting local need and demand for places. The school has a welcoming atmosphere and a strong team of committed and supportive staff.
In 2017, 81% of students achieved a grade 4 and above in both English and Maths in the reformed GCSE qualifications. We were judged outstanding at our latest Ofstead inspection; "Children are proud of the school and confident in their teachers." - Ofsted
The post is initially a one year contract with effect from January 2018 to 31 August 2018 when the contract will be reviewed accordingly.
The school serves the town of Whitchurch and the surrounding area and is within easy reach of Winchester, Newbury, Basingstoke and Southampton with good transport links to the M3 and A34.
