Part-time Maths teacher (0.8), required from September 2019 until the end of the academic year for a Bolton based secondary school. Due to a restructure within the Maths department, this large mixed comprehensive secondary school is seeking to appoint a skilled Maths teacher wishing to pursue their next new challenge.

This Bolton based secondary school has been graded 'Good' from Ofsted on a consistent basis over the last few years with a grading of 'Outstanding' in relation to behaviour and safety. As the incoming Maths teacher, you will be joining 9 members of staff within the Maths department all working under the guidance of the Director of Mathematics.

  • Part-time Maths teacher (0.8), September 2019 - Bolton secondary school.
  • Must hold subject specific qualifications alongside QTS.
  • Withhold a clear vision of support for the pupils.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39,406.

The successful Maths teacher will be committed to the development of a creative and engaging teaching and learning environment within the Maths department;

  • Opportunity to work in state of the art facilities in a modern secondary school, working towards the continual improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Plan, prepare and mark class work reporting back to relevant senior leadership.
  • Have a proven track record of raising student attainment through varied teaching and learning styles.
  • Promote the school behaviour policies with all pupils across the school board taking appropriate action.

Located in Bolton, this Secondary school is easily accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Manchester. There are also various public transport options with links throughout Greater Manchester for those who do not drive.
