A 'good' oversubscribed secondary school in chorley are recruiting for a creative and passionate Teacher of English to join their vibrant English Department, which is made up of 6 other members of staff, including the Head of Department.

The English department achieves higher than national averages in terms of student progress and performance in progress. Behaviour across the school is exemplary and the level of respect shown amongst students and staff is second to none. There are modern facilities throughout the school and it is ideally located with close by transport links and on site parking.

You will be following the AQA Specification and will be teaching English across KS3 and KS4. You will be expected to also lead booster sessions for lower and higher ability classes, as it's leading up to GCSE exams.

With this time of the year, the school need a strong teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
