"We are looking for an English teacher to start with us following the February half term. We return to school after the week off, on Monday 18th February with the successfully appointed teacher of English being required on a part time basis for 3 days per week most likely Monday, Thursday and Friday each week. We require an experienced English teacher to join us and hit the ground running from the offset, taking on planning and marking responsibility and effectively becoming a part of the team here. This is an open position as a result of a move around within our department and we are now looking for a new addition"

Our client secondary school situated in the Trafford area is looking to recruit a part time English teacher to start with them on Monday 18th February. The successful English teacher will be teaching up to GCSE level and given the start date, will be teaching some of the year 11s that are due to take their GCSEs so any relevant experience of this will be desirable.

Key highlights of this English teaching position:

  • Part time 3 days per week: Monday, Thursday and Friday each week
  • Monday 18th February start until the end of the academic year
  • Pay ranging between £120 - £140 per day
  • Teach KS3 and KS4, GCSE level English following the AQA syllabus
  • Additional opportunity to run intervention and revision sessions, dependent upon the teacher's experience
  • Secondary school situated in the Trafford area
