P.E. Teacher - Newcastle Upon Tyne

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Male P.E. Teacher for a School in Newcastle to cover a vacant post. The role is temporary initially, starting full-time from September 2019 but part-time cover may be required from June 2019 term. This role is expected to go on to April 2020 but could be extended and potentially made permanent. The key responsibilities of the role are to prepare and teach Male P.E. lessons across KS3 - KS5, over a full timetable.

The School is an 11 to 18 secondary school with approximately 1000 students. The school has a thriving community of students, parents, staff and governors who work together to provide an engaging learning environment which encourages students to reach their full potential. The most recent OFSTED inspection judged the overall effectiveness of the school as good. Academic excellence is at the heart of the school and learning is designed to be exciting, stimulating and relevant to students' lives in the 21st century.

The School is located in the West-End of Newcastle and is very accessible by public transport and main roads from Newcastle and Northumberland.

The School requires a good to outstanding Teacher of P.E. to join their well established, supportive and innovative team. They are looking for someone who can motivate students and enhance pupil's development in the subject in order to attain their highest potential. The starting date for this role is the 2nd September 2019.

You will have the opportunity to be paid in line with MPS/UPS - £23,720 - £39,406. Initially, you will be paid at a daily rate between £100 - £120.
