Teaching Personnel are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and resilient Teaching Assistant / Outreach Worker for a role in the Darwen area. We are specifically recruiting for a candidate to split their time accordingly between being in the classroom and working off - site providing 1:1 outreach tuition for pupils. The School provides education and support for KS3 / 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviours and Learning Difficulties. The School is based on the outskirts of Darwen and candidates interested in this role should be car drivers as you may be expected to work off site a couple of days a week. 

The role would suit a hard working Support Assistant with experience working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis. 

The candidate must be available full time, have experience supporting children with SEN and / or challenging behaviours and candidates must be able to be empathetic towards the needs of pupils' whilst remaining strong and confident when it comes to behaviour management. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP60 - 70 per day

- Long term position available 

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
