Job Title: Outdoor Education Learning Support Assistant
Location: South Brent
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £95 – £100 per day
Are you passionate about the outdoors and supporting young people to thrive in alternative learning environments?
We are looking for enthusiastic and resilient Learning Support Assistants to join an outdoor education provision in South Brent from September.
This role involves supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them to engage in a practical, outdoor-based curriculum. Activities are varied and could include woodland learning, outdoor skills, team building, and sports-based sessions.
The Role:

Supporting students with a range of SEN/SEMH needs in an outdoor learning environment

Encouraging engagement through hands-on, practical activities
-
Working closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning

Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them develop social, emotional, and academic skills
Requirements:
-
A passion for working with young people and making a difference
-
The ability to drive, with business insurance, due to the location and nature of the role

Experience supporting SEN/SEMH students (school, alternative provision, or youth work backgrounds all considered)

Patience, adaptability, and a willingness to get involved in outdoor activities in all weathers!
What We Offer:

Full-time role, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Daily pay between £95 – £100

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
