Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity to earn while also doing something that makes a direct impact on the education, lives and future careers of those young people that are hardest to reach.
We are working alongside Local Authorities based in Berkshire who are currently seeking to recruit multiple out-reach tutors. These tutors are to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils who are educated outside of mainstream education.
The pupils may be being educated outside of mainstream for a variety of reasons including Special Educational or Medical Needs, LAC Status or exclusion due to challenging behaviour.
If you are a Teacher who is able to combine the expertise of your subject, or general subjects, with an enthusiastic approach to helping others, and are looking for a varied and rewarding role, please read on to the candidate requirements.
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- Be able to swiftly build positive relationships and gain the trust and confidence of the young people so that they get back on track with their learning.
- Have considerable experience and understanding of children and young people who have additional needs and difficulties that prevent positive access to their learning.
- Work well within a team and be well organised and efficient.
- Be an experienced teacher with proven ability to work with children and young people at different ages and stages to achieve successful outcomes.
- Be solution focused, flexible and have a good sense of humour.
