Job Title: One to One Tutor/Teacher

Location:

East of England, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough

Job Type:

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one tutoring sessions to students
  • Create personalised lesson plans based on student's needs and goals
  • Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians on student's performance
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual student needs

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 1 years of UK teaching or tutoring experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of curriculum and educational best practises
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational skills and time management
  • Adaptability and flexibility in teaching approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
