Nurture Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH/PRU

Bromley

£90 - £110 per day (PAYE)

Monday to Friday

8:30am to 4:00pm

What we are looking for in our Nature Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Nurturing and positive attitude

• Looking to work within education

• Experience with SEN young people (personal or professional)

• Experience within care or support role (desirable but not essential)

• Positive attitude

Are you passionate about supporting young people who cannot access mainstream education in a rewarding role? Do you want to help students who suffer from trauma and support them on their journey to success as they learn and grow?

We are looking for a Nurture Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant to support young pupils with trauma who cannot access mainstream education. In this role the successful applicant will need to support students with SEMH and assist them in the classroom environment.

The KS3/KS4 students can sometimes have challenging behaviour however this role can be very rewarding as you guide and support them, building a connection to the many great students within the PRU school.

The school has on-site parking and friendly staff and can be a great launching point for any career working with SEN Children, as well as for those already with experience and looking to further their career.

Salary: £90.00-£110.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
