Nursery Teaching Assistant:
Locations: St Austell | Truro
Full-time | Part-time | Flexible hours available
Competitive Daily rate £89.38-£95
Do you love working with young children and helping them grow through play, care, and learning? We’re urgently seeking caring enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery assistants to support Early Years settings across Cornwall. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out in childcare, we have flexible roles available to suit your availability and background.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the daily care and development of children aged 0–5
Assisting with activities, routines, feeding, and personal care
Helping to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment
Working as part of a team to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Building positive relationships with children, staff, and families
We’re looking for:
Experience in childcare or early years settings
A kind, patient, and hands-on approach to working with young children
A willingness to get stuck in and support wherever needed
Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (desirable, not essential)
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
