Pay: £89.38 Per Day

Teaching Personnel is urgently looking for a Nursery Teaching Assistant. If you’re passionate about giving children the best possible start in life, this is the job for you! We are looking for someone who will support our youngest learners in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
About the Role:
This role is a physically active position that requires you to engage with children on an individual level while still supervising the rest of the classroom. Other duties include:
- Planning and supervising fun and educational activities.
- Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time.
- Feeding and changing babies.
- Communicating with parents and staff members.
- Ensuring safety of children.
- Helping children learn numeracy and language through daily activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a Nursery environment.
- You will need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) check or willingness to obtain one.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
