Nursery Practitioner

Currently recruiting for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join well established Nursery in Fareham. This Nursery is part of a small ground and due to their recent success and growth, they are now looking for qualified Nursery Assistants.

This is a long term role, working on a full time basis starting in September.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Level 2/3 qualification and previous experience as a Nursery Assistant is desired but not essential.

Nursery Practitioner Duties include but not limited to:

• Completing observations and learning journals
• Following the Early Years Foundation Curriculum
• Teaching phonics schemes to small groups
• Individual planning
• Preparing food and drinks
• Building relationships with the children and parents

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in EYFS/childcare/education
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient
• Experience working with early years
• Good communication skills both with children and parents
• Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS.
• Working full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
