Nursery Practitioner (Supply) – Hull (Temporary, Full-Time)
Pay: £90–£120 per day
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Contract Type: Temporary (Full-Time Hours)
Are you passionate about early years education and creating a nurturing, engaging environment for young children to thrive? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team in Hull.
About the Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5. You’ll work closely with other practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework, while ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fun, educational activities that promote child development.

Support children’s emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.

Maintain accurate observations and records of children’s progress.
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
About You:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent).

Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
-
A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
-
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
