Nursery Practitioner Opportunity
Are you passionate about supporting young children and contributing to their early development? If so, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Nursery Practitioner to join a well-regarded nursery based in Everton.
About Us
We are a supporting a long‑established nursery providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The nurseries ethos centres around delivering high‑quality care and early education, ensuring every child has the opportunity to flourish.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role within the team, working alongside experienced colleagues to create a positive, enriching space for all children. Your responsibilities will include planning engaging activities, supporting personal care routines, assisting during mealtimes, and helping to maintain a warm and encouraging atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress and development.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment.
- Support children’s emotional well‑being, offering reassurance and comfort when needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
- Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood development.
Working Hours
Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
