A local established nursery setting that we work closely with in Surrey is looking for a full-time nursery teacher to work with their children. The nursery has become synonymous with quality care and provides a wonderful, warm, caring, safe environment where children can enjoy their childhood, developing their character and skills for life. They have created a home from home where children can feel calm, are able to explore, play and grow at their own pace. The warmth and atmosphere are instantly palpable, and you can clearly see how the nursery supports each individual child as they begin their exciting learning journey.
They are looking to appoint for the role as soon as possible as nurseries have been notified to remain open in the recent government announcement.
The successful individual will have the correct childcare qualifications and relevant experience within a nursery/childcare/school setting.
About the role:
- Recognised teaching qualification Level 3 Childcare (or the equivalent)
- Relevant Key Stage experience
- The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
- DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
- Practices to develop and encourage pupil's interests and knowledge
About you:

- Must be an amicable and caring personality with integrity.
- Must have flexibility, strength of character and be resilience.
- Must be adaptable and inclined to accept guidance and support.
- Must be an appropriate role model to learners.
- Must have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Must have a positive solution focused approach to challenging situations.
- Must be emotionally literate.
- Must be fit enough for work and able to engage in a range of activities with the children.
