Nursery Nurse – Help Little Learners Shine in South Shore, Blackpool
Location: South Shore, Blackpool
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Setting: Nursery/Early Years within a Primary School
Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early development? We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a friendly and supportive early years team in South Shore, Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the early experiences of children aged 0–5.
About the Role
As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. You’ll work closely with colleagues and families to support each child’s individual needs and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development
- Observe and record progress, contributing to learning journals and planning
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive environment
✅ What We’re Looking For
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A warm, patient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
