Nursery Nurse – Primary School (Full-time, Bath, BA2)
Location: Bath, BA2
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90 per day (higher rates available based on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025 (with opportunities for work before then)
We are seeking 2 enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurses to join a vibrant primary school in Bath, BA2, starting in September 2025. However, there are opportunities to start before then if you are available.
These full-time positions involve supporting the early years children in a nurturing environment, helping them develop and thrive both academically and socially. As part of a supportive team, you will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to provide high-quality care and learning support for young children.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the care, learning, and development of children in the nursery and early years setting
-
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development through play and structured activities
-
Help with classroom routines, including supporting individual and group learning activities
-
Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
-
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children is essential (previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred)
-
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent) are desirable

A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards working with young children
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with both staff and children

A commitment to ensuring children’s safety and well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
