Requirements for the Role:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or is degree qualified is essential
• Use initiative, the ability to adapt and to be inventive when dealing with different needs
• Have worked with a range of SEN and EAL pupils, including downs syndrome, autism and children who are non verbal
• Working with small groups of pupils, otherwise known as key children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be calm, passionate and understanding
• Deliver a good level of interventions, Phonics, Numbers and Sound and able to adapt to each pupils abilities
• You must have a good command of the English language – oral and written
