Nursery Nurse

Job description

We are looking to appoint several Nursery Nurses to join a pool of supply staff in time for September 2019. One of our client primary schools in York has recently developed a new Nursery unit and requires several qualified Nursery Nurses or Level 3 EYFS trained Teaching Assistants for the new academic year.

The ideal candidates will hold the correct qualifications and have experience supporting Early Years pupils. We are looking for Nursery Nurses who are passionate about working with children, who are proactive and able to use their own initiative.

Our client school can offer full time and part time roles at this stage.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Supporting feeding times through out the day
  • Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training
  • Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
  • Working with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
