Nursery Nurse

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in our Primary Schools in Brighton. We have a variety of roles available, full and part time.

We are looking to employ experienced Teaching Assistants to assist in promoting the learning of all pupils, including but not exclusively, those with special educational needs. 

We need highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a real difference to children’s lives; assisting them socially and emotionally as well as helping them succeed in their journey through education.  The successful applicants will support individuals and groups of pupils in and out of class.

Applicants should be educated to GCSE level in literacy and numeracy and have the ability to establish positive relationships with pupils and empathise with their needs.

If you do not have specific school experience; we will also consider applicants with the following experience:

• Youth work
• Working as a group leader for Brownies, Guides or Scouts etc.
• Children's entertainment e.g. holiday parks, kids clubs, activity instructor
• Teaching outside schools e.g. Drama groups, dance teaching, 1:1 tuition

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
