Nurser Teacher - Llanelli

An excellent Welsh medium primary school in Llanelli are looking for an additional teacher to work in their nursery class during the spring term, They are recruiting another member of staff due to the increase in numbers for their nursery.

The class will have 46 pupils between January and Easter and you will be sharing the room with a very experienced teacher. The class is open plan and you will be expected to share planning and preparation, teach selected groups but cover all subjects.

The school's focus on the Welsh language and the development of speech and language is of the utmost importance so experience or knowledge of ELKLAN is desirable.

The ability to speak excellent levels of Welsh is essential and a background in the Foundation Phase is also key.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Speak fluent welsh
• Be experienced with children of nursery age
• Be available on a full time basis
• Be knowledgeable of various developmental stages within the Foundation phase
• Be experienced planning and assessing work for nursery aged pupils
• be able to co-plan and work well within a large team of staff.

This role will commence 9th January and will run until April through Teaching Personnel,there will then be an option of being taken onto school contract or the summer term.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQT or a fully qualified teacher.
